All Entrepreneurs are businessperson
But, All Businessperson are not entrepreneurs.

I do not know who said this.

However, the above quote must be true considering the definition of both businessman and entrepreneur.

These both terms businessmen and entrepreneur are the famous terms used to identify a person who initiates a business.
According to Google dictionary,

Businessman is a man who works in commerce, especially at executive level.”

Entrepreneur is a person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit.”

Now, the question is why it is necessary to know the difference between?

The answer is: It is not, or I do not know, or I want to be specifically one of them and many more reasons.

All of the points mentioned are just my personal opinions. And it is highly probable that it may clash with your current beliefs. Nevertheless, these points are just to express what I feel about these 2 words.

A businessperson stays with a traditional method of doing business whereas an entrepreneur does his business in unconventional ways.

A businessperson focuses on competition, an entrepreneur focuses on cooperation.

A businessperson mostly has active income and profit. An entrepreneur mostly has passive income or profit.

A businessperson focuses on being a market player. An entrepreneur focuses on being a market leader.

A businessperson has a traditional and predictable approach. An entrepreneur has a spontaneous approach.

A businessperson has a job seeking mentality. An entrepreneur has a job giving mentality.

An entrepreneur can initiate a business with all risk and profit. A businessperson can run other people business.

The primary difference is in the info-graphics:

Steve Jobs as Entrepreneur and Donald Trump as Businessman

None of the above points imply that you should be an entrepreneur or businessperson. Either way, you can contribute to the society.

Whether you take a massive risk or make a safe bet, it is absolutely essential to do certain things. Like either way, you have to do market research and know how would your ideal customer look like.

In conclusion, it all comes down to personal beliefs created around those words.

Anyways, if you want to succeed in the world of business, it is necessary to know Thyself. And also how much risk can you tolerate to run efficiently.

Now, I would leave up to you. What do you think is there any differences between entrepreneur and businessperson?
