How to create blinking text light effect video in Canva — Canva video editing tutorial

On canva.com you can use your creativity to create awesome designs. Recently, Canva introduced video editing feature on it’s website. In this story I’m going to show you how you can create blinking text light effect in Canva video editor. If you don’t like text tutorial then you can watch my video tutorial on YouTube. Steps to create Blinking text effect video in Canva:

Step 1: Open Canva.com and click on “Create a design” button and select “Video” a blank video editor will open.

Step 2: Now change the color of the first page to black. To change color click on the blank page and click on the Square color box on the upper menu bar after that select any color your want.

Step 3: Click on “Text” tab to add text and write first later of the word. For example if you want to write BLINK then write only B.

Step 4: Change the effect of the Text. Click on the letter and click on “Effects” button on the menu bar and select “Neon” and increase the “Intensity” to 100.

Step 5: Now change the color of the letter. Click and select the letter and click on “A” button on the menu bar and you will see hexadecimal number of color remove that and change it to #00ff47.

Step 6: Now copy and paste the text “B” and change the next letter to “L” keep writing the next letter like that. In the end it will be “BLINK”.

Step 7: Duplicate the first page, click on the first page in the time line and press CTRL+C and then CTRL + V.

Step 8: Now we need to remove the formatting from the second page. Click on each letter and click on “Effects” button and select “None”.

Step 9) Now set both page time 0.2s. Click on the first page in the timeline and click on the “Edit timing” button on the above menu bar, “Edit timing” button will look like a “clock” Symbol, click on that and change timing to 0.2s.

Step 10) Now right click on the first page, and press CTRL+A on your keyboard it will select both pages that we have created, after that press CTRL +C to copy, then press CTRL + V multiple time to create multiple copies of both the page. This will increase the duration of your video.
