I can relate, especially with race — I’m tired of constantly having to pull in the POC perspective, especially when other POC don’t really have my back because my politics aren’t American enough or something. I remember ages ago being asked why I’m not vocal about X Thing and I’m like “do I have to???”. And yeah, totally hear you about the falseness of community.
