OMG that identity police panel thing actually happened to me. I was dogged with vicious rumours of me “lying to lesbians to sleep with them”. (Yeah, I don’t even know.)

My trajectory of my sexuality is sort of like yours, just with the last two flipped. And it’s because of this that “queer” fits me way more than other words do — because it doesn’t erase any of my history or makes it sound like I was “pretending” all this while. All my attractions and relationships were valid, whether or not I would reexplore them now.
