The Future of School is Student As Engaged, Selective Consumer.

I wrote an entire book describing how this will occur, so I can’t fit it in here. But some hints are in my other Medium pieces.

Grades will be gone as a semester’s work is instead represented by 3–8 @openbadges.

The clock day for many teens will end at 11pm, and thus begin much later.

Most teens will take several high school ‘classes’ in a nearby church or similar under-used facility.

A huge number of teens will have at least one class led by…another teen.

Learning will nearly always be active.

Classes will be in factories, parks, arts facilities.

Design Thinking will be part of every teens repertoire.
