It took the CREDITS team just five days to visit two large-scale blockchain conferences in China and the United Arab Emirates.
The 2nd Global Fintech & Blockchain China Expo held in Shanghai on April 12 has brought together over 1,000 visitors and more than 800 delegates from all over the world. These are civil servants from national governments, researchers from research institutes, the representatives of Blockchain and Fintech companies. They have discussed the prospects, implementation, and real-life application of this technology in a variety of industries, ranging from health care, to gaming, to banking, and public administration.
A meaningful event not to be missed for us, the CREDITS team.
After the event finished, the CREDITS team invited everybody to a meetup at a Shanghai restaurant. We were eating burgers, drinking beer and, of course, talking about the blockchain. More specifically, we were answering questions about our platform. Chinese investors specializing in banking kept asking us about the platform speed — how we reach the speed of 1 million transactions per second. You might find the answer in a big article (to avoid repeating ourselves).
… and in Dubai
Our team flew from Shanghai directly to the United Arab Emirates to attend the Seamless.2018 blockchain conference held on April 15–16 in Dubai. Attendees include more than 10,000 visitors, 350+ exhibitors, and 250 speakers. The event has showcased IT solutions in areas such as mobile payments, data science, inventory management, digital marketing, etc. The event space has been divided into a total of four zones: Payments, Fintech, Retail, and E-commerce — CREDITS has had business appointments in all of the four.
We have negotiated with Satish Yadav, Director at Ernst&Young, and Gary Hooper, Sales Senior Executive at Dubai Airport Freezone. We have discussed cooperation with Ahmad Ahmadi, CTO at GSS International Group, and Dhaval Dagli, analyst at National Bank of Abu Dhabi. Please find our photo report below.
