As a shopper, I am greatly confused by everything I have seen and read on this webpage. After reading though the first half of the ‘Press’ page I began to wonder if this was even the same company I have been shopping for.
Sadly it is. This article says that Instacart has been named as a top place to work but the past couple of months have been increasingly hard to bare and it feels like it is only getting worse. We, as shoppers, are being paid less and less while everyone on this page is as happy as can possibly be.
We shoppers are running ragged, driving our own vehicles all over Gods creation for deliveries, and loosing more and more time with our families for less and less compensation. When any of this is addressed to the support team we get the same line, ‘we care about our team… we will take this into consideration” and nothing gets done, no responses, I am beginning to wonder if anyone here even still cares about us.
I am a mother of two boys and in todays society I have no choice to but to work 2 jobs. I use to love getting to start my Instacart shifts, shopping to help others and meeting new people. The best part was it gave me the opportunity to provide for my family and still have time with them. But now, I spend every spare moment with my eyes glued to the white batch screen, praying that something comes though that will pay me more than it will take away in gas alone.
I do hope that someone up there still does care about us shoppers and will help us so we can help the customers.
