Token metrics or tokenomics play a key role in the project’s success and in aligning incentives within the project’s ecosystem amongst early supporters, partners, community participants, external clients, and the core team.
This article is intended to give you a breakdown of the CSM token economics, the vesting schedule, and the token sales. But before we get into that, let us give you a quick overview of our main token $CSM.
What is $CSM?
The Cricket Star Manager Community token ($CSM) is the in-game premium and governance token with a fixed supply, capped at 100,000,000 tokens, which will gradually be released. Some key use cases of the $CSM token include:
- $CSM holders govern the Community treasury by staking their tokens in a progressive DAO.
- Staking $CSM also affects how certain players’ assets behave in-game (for example, staking $CSM may increase the chance of a player’s stadium hosting a game).
- $CSM token is also used in the game for specific in-game actions — renaming cricket players and stadiums require $CSM token fees (that will fuel the treasury along with community fees from sales in the store and trades in the marketplace).
- $CSM holders have access to unique NFT drops and limited sales.
