Hello you. Yes, you. On the high horse.

So… you say this: “ not as good as your pay, I know, but we vendor/teachers sometimes have to take the crumbs they offer us”
but then say this: “ I’m all for paying a fair wage to fiber arts teachers.”

You don’t have to take those crumbs and neither does she. You choose to take those crumbs because financially it makes sense for you. It doesn’t for others. Why wouldn’t we all want to get paid more?

I don’t think you get the point of this whole debate, just because one teacher can’t make your system work from her side, doesn’t mean that she is putting you down for making it work; it just doesn’t work for her. She is fighting for fair wages for all, including you. Yes, national big name teachers get name recognition and bring in the people. That name recognition comes from being a good teacher as well as being highly published etc.

I hate to say it, but you sound like the Diva here, not Abby.
