Social Media. Only for the cool kids?
Tim Gorman

I must admit that I have posted in my past for something to gain attention.I also have shared my personal beliefs not thinking I would be ridiculed.. Well at least I did not think my friends would attack me. I once posted about my thoughts on the 2012 election in support of Obama and I immediately received backlash by people. My post was up for about a minute or so and people immediately started calling me stupid a buffoon and I honestly did not expect it to happen at all. It really upset me that I was being attacked for my opinion. I was even more upset that these were people who I considered friends. If “friends” were attacking me about this I could not imagine what a stranger would have said. This post honestly impacted me in such a way that I do not post things anymore and do not care to share my opinion publicly.
