Learning about cloud computing can be very rewarding on the long run! If you’re not sure where to start from, or you’re not convinced this is the right path for you, then I encourage you to follow this series of article on “Getting started with…” where I’ll be sharing my Cloud learning journey, as a user without a technical background. And, by passing the assessment, you’ll receive this badge to display as your credential.

In today’s article, I’ll be talking about the “AWS Partner: Sales Accreditation (Business)” learning path (link in title). This is a beginner-level course designed to give an overview on the skills and knowledge needed to successfully make an AWS cloud services offering to customers. Taking the course can be beneficial for several reasons:

#1: The biggest advantage of this course for a learner with non-tech background, is that the wording and content is easy to follow, thus increasing one’s chances of getting a fast-track background of cloud computing terminology.

#2: The second biggest advantage is getting recognition for your effort and time invested in the learning, by pursuing the accreditation exam. Once passed, the accreditation can help demonstrate to future customers that you hold the knowledge and skills on AWS services

#3: Probably the most obvious advantage is that this accreditation can give you a competitive advantage in showcasing to future customers the benefits of using AWS cloud services to grow or optimise their businesses.

#4: The course is filled with resources provided by AWS to which you will be able to maintain access after finishing the coursework, such as: sales enablement tools, sales training, and how to access AWS experts who can provide guidance and support.

Overall, I think that by taking the “AWS Partner: Sales Accreditation (Business)” course can be beneficial for anyone looking to get a start in their cloud learning journey and gain a competitive advantage in the cloud computing industry.
