Big statement, huh?
When Listle started out around seven months ago, it started with the premise of how much fascinating written content there is out there and how difficult it can be to consume it. During an average day, we do so much mundane stuff, so many mindless activities. What if we did something productive with all that dead-time, like, let’s say, learn something new? Yeah, sure, but when you think of learning, reading usually comes to mind, which requires significantly more attention than listening.
So, we decided to narrate all that interesting content we couldn’t find in audio.
Four months ago, the content you could find on Listle was mostly focused on tech, startups, self-development and some opinion stories on politics, here and there. The more we spoke to our users, the more we understood the need for carefully curated content on areas not always covered by the mass media.
The past month or so has been filled with reading and discovering new sources of content, as well as topics that could bring real value to listeners. So here’s what we’ve come up with — along with some titles you can find in each of these playlists. We’re constantly adding new audio articles and would love to have your input on what you’d like to find out more about.
A special mention goes to our #BlackHistoryMonth playlist, which celebrates the achievements, culture, and history of black people in America and abroad, with a new background story on a different figure, every day throughout February.
There’s a lot more to cover, nonetheless. So here’s what to look forward in the next couple of weeks.
