Hope you’re enjoying it.
I for one, am pretty jazzed that tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday. I love Super Bowl Sunday. It’s always a fun, cozy evening, plus my team’s gunning for a championship this year. Lucy will be wearing her mini Patriots jersey, while I try to stop her from eating everything on the coffee table.
Speaking of which, these little guys from She Likes Food are on the menu. Still cruising on my gluten/dairy/everything-free diet and roasted potato cups with guac check all the boxes. Other good options: Easy Avocado Salsa or any of these Simple Super Bowl Recipes.
This one’s worth the read: The “Other Side” is Not Dumb by Sean Blanda. “Because refusing to truly understand those who disagree with you is intellectual laziness and worse, is usually worse than what you’re accusing the Other Side of doing.” Food for thought these days, eh?
Depression affects more than 15 million Americans, and more research is of course needed. But this is big news! A new study reveals concrete evidence for a link between diet and depression — the first study of its kind — and the results were pretty significant.
I picked up In the Company of Women by Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge the other day and have been devouring it this weekend. It profiles over 100 female designers, makers and entrepreneurs and I love it so much. I want to tear out each page and take all of these ladies out to lunch.
And finally, a simple change that will make you happier at work on The Muse. I don’t work in an office anymore, but find this little trick extremely helpful in client communication. Give it a try!
Happy reading, friend.
