The third leg of Breslau Rally 2024 is a long trip between two different military polygons, from Żagań (Training Center Żagań) to Drawsko Pomorskie (Drawsko Training Ground).

Today’s program included two special stages - first the famous SS Hannibal with a length of 133.04 km, and then another one with a length of 53.90 km (already at the territory of Drawsko Training Ground). Between these two special stages there is about 180–200 km of transfer distance.

Robert Przybyłowski

Robert Przybyłowski, PL (KTM 450 Replica Rally, Enduro): “A real marathon day. First a special stage in Żagań, then a long transfer, and again a special stage - already in Drawsko. There was a lot of difficulty at the transfer zone - lots of inaccurate information, confusion with arrival times at the check point. But the special stages were great, I was going fast (especially on the SS to Żagań) and compensated for yesterday’s time losses. The track at Drawsko was really difficult - foremost, a lot of dust. Very hard road surface, lots of potholes and bumps, you have to be very, very careful.

The main thing is that I finished without any problems, the bike is OK, we are waiting for the race to continue tomorrow”.

Berend de Ruiter, Dyon Van Wieringen

Dyon Van Wieringen, NL (KTM EXC 450): Berend and I represent the Road To Rally team. This is our first start at Rallye Breslau - and our first rally ever. How did our adventure begin? Very simple. We were watching the Dakar on TV, and then the thought came to us - why don’t we give it a try? And that’s when we started our own Road to Rally team. I was planning to start here with another guy, but he broke his leg three weeks before Rallye Breslau. That’s why Berend is here. Today was very interesting - I especially liked the morning special stage in Żagań, with a great route in the forest”.

Berend de Ruiter, NL (KTM EXC 450):Indeed, it was - I joined the team almost on the last day. Just before the race, I got a text message asking - “Do you want to drive?” I discussed this proposal with my father and decided - why not start in this race? And now I’m here! I had a very good second special at Drawsko today. Difficult route, complicated navigation, lots of dust, but I tried to stay calm - and got a good result at the finish!
