Before getting into this, I’m using Medium and their voice-over for certain levels of clarity.

The most important advice I can give about this article is that it’s best to work within your own order of creation. The order of things below simply seems easy to me. What is easiest for you is the correct way to go about it.

There are people who have tons of creations in Fire Pro Wrestling World, and the thought of creating an E-Fed is daunting. That’s understandable. Rule number one of creating your own electronic federation is to never compare what you want with anyone else. Rule number two is, be creative. I will go over the basics of what you need to get started.

First, you will need to think of what kind of company you are making. There are various types and mixes. The most common types are gamey style, high rating style, MMA, and Professional. You can marry any two or more together but that will come in time as you play and/or watch the talent do battle. Remember, there is no wrong way to run your company. I’ll briefly summarize each style. The gamey style is all about fun and doing whatever comes to mind. The high rating style is mainly doing any other style and keeping parameters low on offense and ensuring big moves are done half the match. MMA is based on grounding and striking with tackles and certain submission moves. Professional refers to traditional pro-wrestling where the talent begins with simple moves and steadily moving up towards the big moves and pin attempts. Remember that you can mix and match styles, attempt to make your own, or revamp what’s already been done. There is no wrong way to do this.

Second, you will need a count of created talent. If you are doing a modern style of wrestling, simply having talent is well enough. Starting any promotion with a talent count of ten is a small yet great beginning to any company. This way, you can start off small with 3 matches and as you create more talent, you can add more matches. This method works for MMA and a gamey style. Gamey style is actually modern wrestling. If you pro-wrestling also-known-as traditional, and choose to do heels versus faces, then ten remains a good opening count. The small roster of five versus five gives a great opportunity for viewers to get to know your talent faster with a clear separation on styles and anything you wish to do to discern the goody-two-shoes versus the villains of the ring. So keep in mind that you can do anything you want to do. This is your company and you have dominant control. There’s no wrong way to do this. I am merely providing basic observed guidelines and the desire of those who want an old school way of doing things.

Third, you will need to name your company. There is no such thing as a cool name, but there is a such thing as a not so cool name. Here’s an example. A not so cool name would be, “World E-fed Wrestling Entertainment.” This is because it is a rip off. Can you use it? SURE! Should you use it? You shouldn’t use anything you don’t want to use. Over the 2-centuries of pro-wrestling, various companies have ended their names with Association, Federation, Wrestling, Arts, Art, Pro, Alliance, and more. Most begin with the word World, and now more commonly, other words such as All, Empire, Women, Grand, Supreme, Higher and lots more has taken that slot. A great tip for naming your promotion is to name it something that fits how you want it to be. Hardcore owners may want to use Extreme, Brutal, Epic, Laceration, and such as the first name. Deathmatch owners may want to use Terminal, Final, Deadly, Torment, and Fatal. There are countless combinations possible. Name your company what you wish to. Name it something like, “Super Donkey Fighty Fight Zone” if that’s what you want. I’m simply explaining what you, but it’s up to you make it, and make your way. To help naming, use Thesaurus.com or anything that has a great synonym database.

Fourth, following the name you choose, you will need a ring design. That seems scary in of itself, but I promise you, it’s not. Bare bones can be a great way to start. If you are telling a story that includes the progression of the company, starting off with nothing is best, and then you can get something you like more as your company improves to your enjoyment. You can design the ring with all grey, or any all one color. The built in duo-color helps a lot, but it’s diagonal only. If you want specific designs I will place some blank ones here that used many times as a base of my creations. Simply copy image and save it. I use Microsoft Paint for most lettering. However, if I desire fancy, I will use Wondershare Filmora.

APRON: 1024 x 128px (pixels)

CORNER MAT: 1024 x 512px (pixels)

The mat is huge, so I will only give the dimensions. They are 1024 x 1024px (pixels).

Once you have the ring put together to your liking, you can begin running matches. I titled this “part 1” because others may have deeper questions about creating and or running an electronic federation. For those with such questions, please feel free to ask all that you want. I will check Medium and You Tube for questions periodically. After a week, I will only be able to see questions within my notifications box.
