I know people like to distinguish between sex and gender. I find it a little ridiculous, but that wasn’t the point of my comment. The article stated:

“For instance, people might argue that trans women are not “genetically female,” despite the fact that we cannot readily ascertain anybody’s sex chromosomes.”

The author seems to be arguing that because we can’t readily ascertain our sex chromosomes, the argument that trans women are not genetically female is wrong. This is an illogical argument, in my opinion. How many trans women have female chromosomes? Has there been a study done on that?
