that the part requires entry through the building itself might be the only thing keeping it from, like nearly every other public park and space in this city, becoming a gross, bummy wasteland, and that’s good news. maybe this can be the one nice space where we enforce vagrancy laws and keep spaces clean and nice so people can enjoy them.

i get that it’s not the skyline, or the similar 606 trail in Chicago, but those were built on existing elevated train infrastructure that already ran through the city, this is a single location park built on a space in a commercial building. it doesn’t need to match or aspire to be either of those other two entities. it’s a lovely space, and regarding accessibility, all you have to do is walk to the building and go up an elevator/escalator, it’s not exactly a private club.
