Hi there,

It’s been a busy week for Crypterium! We’ve released our very first bank transfers solution, Austin Kimm took part in some heated debates at Cointelegraph’s BlockShow conference in Vegas, and there was much more we’ve been dying to share with you in our Weekly Digest!

Let’s get right to the details.

Bringing crypto solutions overseas

Crypterium has launched a new feature that now allows Australian citizens to send crypto to bank accounts with a single tap on the screen. Amazing, right? There’s even more: our Australian users can also pay any bills that have the BPAY logo with their crypto holdings.
Why do we think the feature will be in demand? Australia boasts a very high number of active crypto wallet users, while BPAY is the number one electronic billing system in the continent.
Last but not least, the feature is now only accessible in Australia, but we’re going to offer the same options to our European users very soon.

Debating the future of E-commerce at BlockShow Americas

The week kicked off with a massive event as our cofounder Austin Kimmwas invited to take part in a panel discussion at BlockShow Americas in Vegas. The session with a focus on blockchain deployment in e-commerce turned into heated debates as proponents of two opposite views of how — and if — the technology can benefit consumers took on the stage.

Take a look at what Austin Kimm and other panellists had to say on that.

Now it’s our turn to ask you questions. What is the future of crypto? When do we see people buying a morning latte with bitcoins? We know you’ve got your own view on the industry and where it’s all headed. Please share your thoughts through our survey, that we’ve recently launched in our media channels. It’s going to be a series of polls with specific questions about blockchain, crypto, and fintech. The first one is already up!

Unfolding World CryptoMap

In this week’s World CryptoMap instalment we are taking a closer look at the state of things with crypto in India, a country that no longer knows which way is up. After almost proclaiming itself crypto-friendly, the government starts pushing the crypto ecosystem into the corner by taking harsh measures.
