Dear Crypto Mayhem Community,
we are thrilled to announce the launch of our exciting new events: the Crypto Mayhem Top-Down Shooter Tournaments! These tournaments is designed to bring together our passionate community of players and cryptocurrency enthusiasts for a thrilling competition that combines skill and strategy in game with the innovative use of blockchain technology. As active members of the Crypto Mayhem project, your participation and enthusiasm are what drive the continuous growth and success of our project. These tournaments not only offers a chance to showcase your gaming prowess but also provides an opportunity to earn significant rewards and influence the future direction of our tournaments through DAO governance.
Below we will show you how the tournaments work and how you can take part in them:
1. Rules of Tournaments
Let’s start with the fact that each tournament can differ from each other with rules that are set by the project team and can also be shaped by the community. Changes to ongoing tournaments can be made by voting in the DAO, in which participation is ensured by having NFT Tickets.

Each tournament has its own NFT Tickets, which refer to the management in any rule changes. Only by purchasing an NFT Ticket in a given tournament can you vote on a possible rule change.
The rules touch on many aspects of tournaments, i.e. the price per ticket, the mission played, the items used, the points received for missions, the possible number of games played per ticket, etc.
Each tournament will rely on NFT tickets. In order to participate in the tournament, you must have a ticket on your wallet, which you will be able to purchase in advance or even during the tournament (depending on the rules).
2. Minting NFT Tickets
- Participation in the tournament is possible by minting an NFT Ticket through the Mayhem Marketplace:
https://play.marketplace.alturanft.com/ - The cost of an NFT ticket will depend on the rules of the particular tournament, but can be, for example, $0,1, $0,10, $1, $10, $100, etc.
- The maximum supply depends on the initial rules, and can be unlimited in quantity and specifically defined.
- An NFT ticket can allow you to play in the tournament once or repeatedly.
- NFT ticket can be burned (used) if it is one-time, after the start of the mission. In this case, you are still a participant in the tournament and can vote in any changes because you have purchased a ticket once (Additional NFT Tickets can be purchased during the tournament, allowing for multiple attempts).
- If the NFT ticket is reusable, you only need to purchase it once and play until you achieve the best score in a given mission.
- Statistics are recorded only through gameplay on the Mayhem Launcher:

3. Prize Distribution
- Tournament prizes represent revenue from NFT ticket sales.
- The company organizing the tournament receives a portion of the revenue from NFT ticket sales.
- Prizes are awarded to the best players in the tournament leaderboard.
