Introducing the Xiden blockchain

1. Minter Guardian
A redefined smart device that makes it easy for users to reach the full potential of blockchain technology. Minter is designed to provide all users access to the global Internet through a cyber secure, private and unrestricted infrastructure, making it easy to integrate smart devices into the blockchain system.
- Why deploy a Minter Guardian?
The Minter Guardian enables a Hotspot and provides internet connectivity for all sorts of IoT devices: smartphones, tablets, smart fridges, smart speakers, and much more. Your Hotspot facilitates the integration of all types of smart devices that can distribute their resources with the network and get rewards in XDEN. - How do I deploy the Hotspot? What are the requirements for running it?
It’s simple. Just plug it into a power source and connect to Wi-Fi. If there’s no Wi-Fi available, you can directly plug into an Ethernet port. Once this is done, use the Mobile app to finish the setup process.
2. HiDR — dual-environment smartphone
A new smartphone that combines its state-of-the-art integrated technology and futuristic design with high-end security. HiDR is a dual environment device that can be utilized for regular activities and transmission of confidential data.
HiDR can be connected to the Xiden network via the Minter Guardian’s Hotspot and will have a validator role assigned by default.
3. BASM laptop
The first blockchain encrypted laptop that offers integral protection in accessing and transmitting user data by using Voice Over Blockchain Protocol (VOBP) technology.
Although the BASM laptop was launched in 2019, it has a validator role assigned in the Xiden network and can be registered via the Minter Guardian device.
How the Xiden network works — The concept behind
The system behind the Xiden network is open-source, so end-users can buy Xiden devices such as the Minter Guardian router, BASM laptop, or HiDR smartphone (available here) to create their home-owned Xiden ecosystems, which will be operated by themselves. Each user builds the network and owns its node. Thus, the Xiden network is composed of many individuals, part of the network that we grow together.
How can you get XDEN rewards?
By becoming one of the system’s validators.
To become a validator, you need to purchase a device called Minter Guardian (available here) that has a validator role assigned and register it into the system.
Once registered, the Minter Guardian Router acts as a validator node in the system and facilitates the integration of smart devices.
Good to know is that any purchased Minter Guardian comes with 1.000 locked XDEN that can be unlocked through mining — validating transactions.
