If you are new to Cardstack, it is basically an ICO that aims to change the way people, developers and miners interact with apps. We have explained this project in detail in the previous (third) part of our series. Today, we are talking about the goals of the project.

The Cardstack ICO token metrics

The first token metric that need to be mentioned are the hard cap which is 35,000,000 that must be pegged to USD with a soft cap of 10,000,000. The total market cap of the Cardstack ICO, on the other hand, is estimated to be somewhere over 100,000,000$ with 6 billion total tokens and 2,4 trillion ICO tokens.

Forty percent (40%) of the total tokens will go to the contributors. According to Cardstack, there are 4 million tokens that are yet to be mined and released over the course of the next 10 years.

When it comes to the actual price, one CARD is valued at a starting price of $0.017. The current Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is published on the project’s Github page — with an Aplha version coming soon as well.

The project will give bonuses in three ways — batch A (20% bonus), batch B (10% bonus) and batch C (no bonus).

Lastly, the use of tokens will be as following:

When a user spends CARD, the money will be staked in a reward pool. The pooled tokens will be periodically distributed to the app developers and contributors via algorithmic payment and a governance model that will be determined by the community. There are also analytic miners in Cardstacks team that will help calculate the reward function of who will get paid out what.

So far, Cardstack (CARD) has been popular on social media. There are around 3,000 followers on Twitter, 12,000 on Telegram and a positive sentiment about the project in many different ICO groups.

In the last part, we will give our final verdict about the Cardstack ICO — and give out the reasons why and why could or couldn’t this project succeed. Follow us to the last (fifth) part that’s going to be posted tomorrow!

If you can’t wait for the next parts being released, you can read more about Cardstack on their website, ANN/BTN threads or shoot them a message on their official Telegram!
