If you have followed me over the past two days you probably have read through my EQUI articles I published earlier. But besides all the explanations and possibilities, there’s an important point of view we investors have to take on in order to know where to put our money — the ICO terms. No matter how revolutionary and great a project might sound on paper, we still have to do our diligence and calculate and audit our investments just as EQUI has to do it with upcoming projects for their platform.

Basic profit calculations should be done before any investment decision

In order to benefit from any ICO, we need to know if the token sale terms are any good or if the team keeps 98% of the tokens and gives themselves a 4 Billion $ valuation only to grab some money before slandering back into the traditional market and craft away on their vision with investors’ money that fuels the operational cost without yielding any worthy return.

In order to calculate our potential return, we have to look at the overall token supply, the market cap and the bonus structure of each ICO. We will also be on the lookout for potential pre-sales or shady token allocations for “marketing purposes and partnerships” which could very well just go right into the pocket of your favorite crypto(oooooman) on Twitter to shill the coin (pun intended).

That being said, EQUI is not one of those ICOs. Their token allocation is clearly laid out and the overall bonus structure is acceptable. What I like the most is the very detailed information on how they structured their token and funds allocation. It really shows how neatly planned through this ICO is. I will post the exact token sale terms later on today and will share my personal opinion on the whole ICO, so stay tuned!

For more information on EQUI please have a look at Website, BTT/ANN threads or chime into their Telegram!
