EQUI — Should you trade, hold or invest your EQUItokens?
In the last article we talked about EQUI and what ways of usage it provides. We had a deeper lock into the venture capital investing aspect of the token usage per se, but there are still two more options left for people using the EQUI platform. After you purchased your share of EQUItokens you can either hold them, trade them or invest them in upcoming projects (as described in a previous article). Besides the investment option, holders of the EQUItokens will also profit on their EQUItoken purchase.
Those “hodlers” will automatically be part of the EQUI loyalty program, which pays out 5% of the profits generated from successful projects launched on the EQUI platform. By basically just holding your EQUItoken on the platform you’re awarded a pay-out amount depending on the overall success of the platform. We yet have to see what this will be in absolute numbers but overall the percentage exceeds the usual yearly yield you could expect in the stock market, and this isn’t taking the possible price increase of the EQUI tokens into account at all.
Another possible use of the EQUItokens is the usual trading which can be done on every exchange that lists EQUItokens. People who decide to trade the tokens do not have any access to use the previously mentioned advantages of the EQUI platform. In order benefit from those attributes you have to keep your EQUItokens on the platform. This surely will positively impact the overall price action of the EQUItokens because it actively decreases the amount of the real circulating supply which will be traded on exchanges.
To conclude the token usage, you can either hold, trade or invest your EQUItokens in order to profit from the overall project. Each way has it’s pros and cons — at the end it’s up to the individual investor what strategy he is following in order to reach his investment goals.
