What is Staking?
Put simply, staking is a way of earning passive income by holding specific cryptocurrencies. You lock your crypto assets for a set amount of time and earn rewards in return when the locking period has finished. In other words, it’s a super easy and effective way to grow your crypto!
What is BXX?
If you’re not familiar with BXX, we’ll give you a quick rundown.
BXX is an ERC20 token that powers the Baanx ecosystem. BXX was founded in 2017 and can be used to buy, store, sell, or exchange for other fiat and digital currencies. Currently, BXX can be traded on the MEXC, Uniswap, Fibswap, Bilaxy, STEX, and Latoken exchanges.
BXX is also the driving force behind some of the CL features we all know and love, such as 2% cashback when you spend with your CL Card powered by Ledger. And now that staking is live, you can also enjoy higher levels of interest-free spending with our Cryptodraft and Stableloan features.
Staking is our latest addition to BXX’s utility, but we’ve got even more plans for it in the future!
How does BXX staking work?
Staking on the CL platform is simple and can be done in just a few taps. You choose the amount of BXX you want to stake and for how long, and you’ll receive an estimate of your reward when the staking period ends. The minimum amount of BXX you can stake is 500.
What kind of staking rewards do I get?
Here are the different levels of APR you can earn through staking your BXX.
- 3 Months — 5% APY
- 6 Months — 7% APY
- 9 Months — 10% APY
- 12 Months — 25% APY

Ready to boost your BXX and grow your portfolio? BXX Staking is available now and can be found on the CL platform within Ledger Live. Here’s what you do:
- Open the Ledger Live App and go to the Card section
- Login to your CL account
- Go to Staking and select Stake Now
- Enter the amount to stake and locking period
- Review APR and estimated reward, then select Stake Now
You’re all set! You will be able to see any active or completed staking deals on the Staking section of your CL account.
The Staking service is not available to any US individual, US corporation or US resident. Other countries and regions may be restricted to keep in line with local laws.
