Recovering Your CL Account

Protecting your crypto assets in everyday life is extremely important. Think of your assets like a treasure chest. You want to keep them locked up, secured, and most importantly — you don’t want to lose the keys to access them.

At CL, we understand that things happen that may be out of your control, such as your device getting lost, damaged, or stolen.

We get that this can be both stressful and frustrating to deal with. That’s why we have protocols in place to help you recover your account in the event of anything happening to your device.

Recovering your account if you lose your device

To ensure complete security, you will be required to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) through a Google Authenticator account.

During the setup process, you will be given an “Authenticator Secret Code”, which will allow you to recover your authentication method in case you lose your phone or any other device.

In the event of device loss with the authenticator installed, you can recover this by logging into your account on another device. You will have the option to select “Lost your authenticator device/app?”, which will start the process to recover authentication. You will need to provide a one-time password (OTP) to complete this, which will be sent to you via SMS.

If you have lost your mobile device specifically, you will need to reach out to our Support Team at support@cl-cards.com, who will assist you further in amending the phone number associated with your CL account.

Can I recover my Ledger hardware wallet if I lose it?

CL will not be able to help recover your Ledger device if you lose it. Hardware wallets are cold storage devices, meaning any assets held on them are offline.
