In case you missed it, on July 13, Judge Torres determined that XRP is not a security — at least when sold to the general public. This is being seen as a huge watershed moment in the crypto community. While we, as a community, are not out the woods just yet, there’s definitely a reason to celebrate. Crypto Twitter certainly didn’t hold back on expressing their joy at this ruling. We’ve gathered our favourite reactions below.

Seriously, has anybody heard from the SEC and Gary Gensler? Are they okay? Cameron Winklevoss is also concerned. The popular crypto newssite Decrypt replied saying that they were trying but to no evail.

Of course, Antony Welfare had to chime in on Ripple’s success. He even added a picture of bottles of champagne just to add salt to the wound.

Ripple also did a little statement. We think they might be right — this is a win for the entire industry. Exciting times are ahead.

A more civil response from the CEO of Binance here. The win surely does feel good, though. Right?
