Introducing Crypto Memes — The Game that takes Blockchain and Memes bonding further
Crypto Memes is a new collectibles game on blockchain that allows anyone to buy memes like Wojak, Rare pepe, Nyan Cat etc. The ownership is secured by the blockchain and it cannot be tinkered with.
Why Memes?
The resurgence of blockchain and cryptocurrencies has made trading accessible for everyone and not just the 1%. This rise of cryptocurrencies was also aided by the crypto memes which have now become the cultural icons of crypto resurgence.
Doge, rare pepes, wojaks, lambos, hodl and so on, the world of memes and blockchain has become so intertwined. Crypto Memes takes this relationship further and marries the world of cryptocurrency with memes. With Crypto Memes, you can buy Memes on the blockchain.
How does it work?
You can search through the Memes Market on Crypto Memes for the memes. We currently have 34 memes (New memes are added slowly to ensure existing buyers are benefitted) and once you find the meme you like, you can click on Own the Meme button.
You would see a popup asking to Pay with Metamask
Clicking on Pay with Metamask enables you to pay for the meme via Metamask extension.
Profit??
Oh yeah, you should buy memes. But what is it anyways if it doesn’t make you monies? Every time you purchase a meme, the price of the meme increases. If anyone would like to buy it from you, they have to do so by paying up to double what you paid. And you get to keep the profit :)
For example, If you buy a meme for 0.02 ETH, another player can snatch it away from you only if they pay 0.04 ETH. Once that happens, you’ll automatically receive 0.04 ETH! A profit of 0.02 ETH.
The price increase is hardcoded (not editable) in the contract as follows:
2x from 0 ETH to 0.05 ETH, 1.2x from 0.05 ETH to 0.5 ETH and 1.15x from 0.5 ETH up.
Can I trust you? Is it safe?
Our contract is out in the open for anyone to verify. The code is open sourced and all the parameters are hardcoded in the system.

Our contract is fully ERC721 compatible. Even if the Crypto Memes website doesn’t exist, the meme ownership is forever secured on the blockchain and anyone can verify your ownership.
You own your meme forever (unless someone pays you double and takes the ownership from you).
