Land or sea?

Holders of the black lacquered tea cup were asked if they wanted to enjoy something from the sea or something from the land.

Those who said “sea,” were offered the wakame gunkan, while those wanting “land,” were offered the sakuraniku nigiri. Those who did not reply in time were randomly offered one of the two choices.

- Eight new menu items added on September 27, 2022

Offerings include sweet corn gunkan, battera sushi, amaebi nigiri, tempura roll, and spider roll.

- Airdropped a new teacup to a holder on September 20, 2022

There’s a small gold tree on this cup!

Anyone who ordered sushi since the last teacup was airdropped this black lacquered tea cup.

- A business card was sent out on June 3, 2022

Each patron with a teacup has been sent a note from the chef written on the backside of a business card. The description reads:

This business card can be redeemed by a friend without sushi for a free sushi with any sushi purchase. To redeem, a new patron should have the business card in their wallet and contact @cryptomoogle. The card will then be burned and a free sushi transferred over. While supplies last.

- A new type of sushi dropped on May 23, 2022

The holder of the kintsugi teacup was asked the following:

They answered tuna and to share. They also playfully answered that they love uni. Originally, I had a tuna and salmon temaki designed, but how could I not create an uni version.

uni temaki!

To reward play, this teacup holder was sent a sampler of sushi to enjoy (three hand-rolls: maguro, salmon, and uni).

Salmon and maguro are available for purchase.

- Airdropped a new teacup to a holder on May 20, 2022

Anyone who ordered 4 or more new sushi while the related offer was going on was airdropped a teacup. In this case, only one patron managed to achieve this feat, making this particular teacup extra rare.

- Pickled ginger dropped on May 5, 2022

A little something to cleanse the palate.

This piece was dropped as a part of the #Tezos4Tezos event. Here, artists were encouraged to create art with lower prices to encourage artist discovery across Tezos. Any unsold tokens were burned.

- A special offer was posted on the wall on May 3, 2022

As a result of this offer, patrons were airdropped something new to try that they had not already collected.

- Two different types of sushi dropped April 25, 2022

White and blue teacup holders were given 48hours to respond to a survey on Google Docs. There were two options:

  • Something traditional
  • Something modern

Respondents received the following correspondingly:

  • Something traditional = kohada nigiri sushi
  • Something modern = dragon roll
Dragon roll (left), kohada (right)

An additional question asked if other sushi patrons should have access to what was being offered. A majority responded no.

- A special offer was posted on the wall on April 13, 2022

- Airdropped a teacup to holders on April 5, 2022

Something about this feels very comforting.

Anyone who ordered sushi after the utensils were dropped were airdropped a teacup.

Thank you to everyone who has ordered sushi to date!

The experience continues for those who wishes to dine more at the counter. Follow @cryptomoogle on Twitter for updates on the next part of the meal.

- Soy sauce dropped on April 4, 2022

A very smol container of soy sauce (that looks huge on Medium)

This piece was dropped as a part of the #SMOL4SMOL event. Here, artists were encouraged to create a piece or two with larger editions and cheaper prices to encourage a bunch of collecting on the 8bidou platform. Any unsold tokens were burned.

Use as much soy sauce as you need.

- Airdropped utensils to holders on March 31, 2022

I wonder what these are used for…

Holders had 24 hours to respond to a survey on Google Docs ending at 11:00 pm UTC. There were three options:

  • Fork for me!
  • Chopsticks please
  • Chopsticks, but I don’t really know how to use them

Respondents received the following correspondingly:

  • Fork for me! = fork
  • Chopsticks please = lacquered chopsticks

The last option, “Chopsticks, but I don’t really know how to use them” was not chosen.

Anyone who did not respond to the survey who held a sushi received disposable chopsticks.
