Crypto Piece 101: Research Center
The time has come to step up your game, sailing closer to prosperity! The Research Center in Crypto Piece empowers players to tier up, defuse and fuse Mercenaries to earn decent rewards.
Step 0: Understand the assignment. You'll need a sufficient amount of $BELLY and Ori to:
- Tier up | Cost: 500 $BELLY = help your Merc proceed at every 10 levels to increase the percentage of your rewards
- Defuse | Cost: Say goodbye to your Merc = terminate your Merc to get $BELLY or Ori upon your preference
- Fuse | Cost: 1000 $BELLY & personal luck = merge two Merc with the same Rarity ranking to earn an upgraded one (success rate varies)
Step 1: Log into app.cryptopiece.online and go to My Crew.
Step 2: Click on the Merc that you want to perform a little ‘magic’
You'll find 03 buttons right below the Merc, which includes Tier up — Fuse — Defuse. Keep your eyes open and do not make hasty moves, mates!
2.1 Tier Up
If your Merc has reached levels 10, 20, 30 and so on, you need to have it tiered to continue play2earn. Each successful Tier passing will come with another extra 2% of reward and XP.
2.2 Defuse
Watch out for this function as we’re under the spell of Mercury Retrograde right now. Only click on Defuse button when:
- You have excessive NFTs and would like to declutter for a lighthearted New Year
- You are running out of Ori and in need of them for tier-up (see 2.1)
- Watching $BELLY flowing into your wallet makes your day — why not?
2.3 Fuse
Here comes the most tricky of them all. Fusion, as juicy as how it sounds, is the feature that enables you to exchange 2 lower rarity Merc for a higher rarity one with a success rate applied.
Merc 1* x Merc 1* = Merc 2* ~ Success rate: 90%
Merc 2* x Merc 2* = Merc 3* ~ Success rate: 80%
Merc 3* x Merc 3* = Merc 4* ~ Success rate: 70%
Merc 4* x Merc 4* = Merc 5* ~ Success rate: 60%
Merc 5* x Merc 5* = Merc 6* ~ Success rate: 50%
Merc 6* x Merc 6* = Merc 7* ~ Success rate: 40%
Yes, that's right. The higher game you play, the higher chance you’ll get rejected and lose your $BELLY.
The reason for the success rate is because those rarity superior Merc have more advantages in the game — quick stamina recovery, more matches a day, faster promotion to name a few.
Weigh the consequences and choose wisely.
