How to do it:
- In MetaMask (go ahead and install install it if you haven’t), the top left hand corner will tell you the network you’re currently on. Switch that to Ropsten Test Network. You’re now on the test network.
2. Click the three dots to the right of your account name. From the dropdown menu, select “Copy Address to Clipboard”.
3. Visit http://faucet.ropsten.be:3001/ and paste your address into the “Enter your testnet account address” field.
4. Click the “Send me _ test ether!” button. It should update in MetaMask promptly.
- Keep in mind that sometimes the faucet is ‘empty’ and that you will have to wait a while before getting your test ether.
5. Now hit up our website and make your test wagers!
