Aquila: The Game Changer

Introduction
For anyone who as read an article of mine, you know I am a huge fan of blockchain technology. Although I began my journey into cryptocurrencies excited to make money, I became quickly enamored with the cutting edge technology being developed within the industry. Combining my enthusiasm with fundamental analysis, I began to discover projects that I truly believe in. Along my journey, I met Triad, one the lead developers of Aquila. He shared with me the concept behind this new project and I immediately became intrigued and excited. Now one of my favorite projects in the cryptocurrency community, I think AQA is something to rave about.
Let’s begin.
If you have heard about Aquila, you might know it was abandoned by the original developer in early 2018. Once destined for greatness as a cryptocurrency exchange, Aquila was left to rot. This caused the price to crash and many investors were left holding almost worthless bags. What happened next is a truly inspiring story.
Many investors walked away, but instead of selling and accepting defeat, a few individuals became inspired to take over. A new team was built, and not only did they envision a unique, new concept of community helping community, they are succeeding in creating it. Recently launching a new website, releasing a new whitepaper, creating a new roadmap, developing new wallets, successfully swapping from AQA to AQX, transforming the logo, completing a masternode presale and relisting on Crypto-Bridge are all proof that Aquila means business. This team is on fire!
So, what is Aquila (AQX)?
AQX is a fork of Bitcoin Green and was recently swapped from AQA. The total supply is only 30,000,000 and the initial supply was a premine of 1,250,000 AQX. It was built on the PIVX system. The block time is 60 seconds and the rewards are split 70% masternode and 30% stakers. They vary depending on block height, but I can confirm that the rewards are particularly good right now, which is an intentional treat for the early investors.
Besides offering a cryptocurrency that provides fast transactions, privacy, low fees and a low environmental footprint, Aquila also offers a unique real world use case. Their goal is to “achieve a decentralized sustainable crypto-currency… with a distinct difference — community helping community.”
Community Helping Community
This novel concept is what sets Aquila apart. Aquila will be offering services to assist the rebuilding of previously abandoned coins. The website states, “Our team will be structured in such a way that we will be able to mobilize the right resources to support a new community that has been deserted by it’s developers…” These resources will include technical development, marketing, community building, graphic design, web design and much more.
Proof of Stake (POS), plus more!
Like many POS cryptocurrencies, Aquila offers great staking rewards as well as masternodes. Wallet and masternode setup guides and proficient technical assistance are available in Aquila’s Discord chat room (link below). POS is growing in popularity right now because it provides investors with passive income while also creating stability for the blockchain network, but what makes hosting an AQX masternode truly special, is the future addition of the Aquila Community Platform (ACP).

ACP will make it possible for the masternode owners to vote and decide which projects the core team will begin to work with. In addition, the team has recently been announced that masternode owners will receive rewards from the projects which Aquila helps to rebuild. Development of ACP has just begun, the roadmap estimates Q3, 2019 to be the release.
Speculation
Aquila’s vision is one that I find to be both unique and sustainable. Fundamentally, this team has envisioned a cryptocurrency that truly benefits everyone and anyone in the industry. The concept of assisting others in need should easily spark the imaginations and interest of investors, as well as cryptocurrency projects looking for assistance. Furthurmore, when I take a moment to ponder about the potential of Aquila Community Platform, I find it very interesting to consider the value of a platform for exchanging these rebuilt coins, and the possibility of incorporating “gas” into the future of ACP. Basically, I think AQX has plenty of room to grow in value.
To Conclude:
Aquila’s logo is the head of an Eagle, a truly inspiring creature, yet I can’t ignore the vision of a phoenix when I think about what the team behind Aquila is creating. Literally reborn from the ashes of AQA, AQX is the recently swapped coin still known as Aquila, but with a whole new game plan I love. I foresee a bright future for Aquila and it’s team… a bright future lit up like the burning flames of a phoenix soaring high through a night sky, lighting a new path for the lost and abandoned projects.
