  • • How to get “HIGH” paying jobs

How to get a job as a moderator

➜ Know where to apply:

Discord, Telegram & Job sites

Have a simple proposal.

For example, in discord, project owners are more likely to give you the job in the tickets you open when you do two things:

1) Compliment

Example,

I love this project and what it stands for.

I noticed a lot of people in the community don’t fully understand what it’s about

Consider hiring me as a mod and see the results in activeness and growth

I’d be expecting your reply @(tag founder)

2) Correct

Start with:

There are 2 things I noticed you’re doing wrong that will undermine the value of this project

Follow up with:

Community and Marketing

You need a good marketer and a good community manager as I noticed the ones you have are not active

In the first scenario you’ve given yourself as the best choice and the second you recommended someone

Try both out and see the results in how fast you get jobs

The best part is that you can get away with it without CVs or proof of work!

THINGS. TO AVOID DOING

➤ Typing long messages (story of your life)

➤ Opening a ticket and typing “Hello”

➤ Acting desperate by spamming them with messages

Doing these things guarantees your losing the job before you even get it

Wage Negotiation Tip 1:

When an employer asks for your target compensation, spin it back on them:

Thanks for asking. Would you be open to sharing the range you have budgeted for this role? That way we can make sure we’re aligned.”

Wage negotiation Tip 2:

When an employer has not raised the subject of compensation but you’ve been given the role, take a chance and ask yourself:

“Can we please talk about the compensation?”

Wage Negotiation Tip 3:

Now that you’ve raised the subject of compensation and you’ve done Tip 1 & 2. Some employers on discord tell you their budget is $100/week

You can choose to negotiate or choose to take the offer as is

Note: The least pay /week for a mod is $50

Bonus Tip

You can choose to apply for as many jobs as you like. Provided you can juggle them all.

If you’re asked if you’re still working for other projects

Refrain from saying you are.

Where to find projects to apply

➜ Crypto launchpads: Example

*Pinksale.finance

*Trustpad.io

*Gamefi.org

Fundraising rounds

Use dovemetrics.com. to watch projects that have been able to raise funds then apply in their telegram channels .

This is particularly harder as hiring processes are tougher than the regular discord or telegram processes

But you never know what could happen

➜ Job pages & job boards

Twitter:

➤ @GetCryptoJobs

➤ @CryptoJobsList

➤ @Web3Career

Job sites:

➤ The Daily Ape Job Board: http://rb.gy/mzrafg

➤ Pomp Crypto Jobs: http://rb.gy/
