May is going to be a slightly calmer month compared to April. We are out of eclipse season — for now. We’re also out of Mercury retrograde, so we don’t have to stress as much about miscommunications and technology mishaps. However, we are getting into the part of the year in which the outer planets begin going retrograde, starting with Pluto on May 2nd.
Pluto turns retrograde on May 2nd and will remain that way for the rest of the year. It will stay in Aquarius until September, when it takes its final stop into Capricorn, before moving back into Aquarius in November until the year 2044.
Pluto retrograde is a time of going inwards and looking at the deepest and darkest parts of oneself. You will become more aware of underlying toxic habits and behaviors that must be addressed. It can be harder to accept change during this period, but you’ll feel motivated to do the inner work.
