I’m stoked to update you on the future of Crystal Frogs and present our updated Roadmap 2.0! We are immensely excited to continue developing Crystal Frogs to be a leading IP within NFTs and to create one of the first community-driven animated cartoon series.

Here’s our past article on how our March 14th mint went to help you understand some context leading up to our Roadmap 2.0.

Roadmap 2.0 Goals:

✅ Increase value for our 400 Founding Frogs Genesis Collection.
-Grow the floor value of this collection by delivering value to our holders through updated traits, exclusive access to our pitch deck development, exclusive events and streams with our team and animator, and providing a higher tier yield of crystals through our upcoming staking platform.
-Overhaul the Founding Frogs Genesis Collection with fresh traits and transition the collection to a fully animated collection (at no expense to holders) to ensure that the Founding Frogs visually represent the value and exclusivity of the collection
-Diversify the holders within this collection and get all of the frogs that we as a team minted for giveaways out into the community

🐸 May 14th Launch and leverage the 4600 Free Frogs collection to build our community.
-Upgrade the 4600 by adding the collab 1/1 frogs we have promoted to the collection as requested by the community. Additionally, add new unrevealed traits to the collection to create more excitement and value in minting your frog.
-Launch the 4600 free frogs collection with great marketing and a seamless mint experience on May 14th. We’ve learned a lot from our mint on March 14th that will help us to create a smoother experience.
-Release the 4600 frogs in phases, to ensure steady growth, a consistent community event, and to help promote a healthier floor by releasing our frogs in phases rather than all at once. The initial phase for this collection opens a large chunk for our Founding Frogs and original members of our WL an opportunity to mint their frogs. Following this phase, we will open 500 frogs monthly from the mint.
— Grow our community through onboarding new holders to our free Crystal Frogs.

🚀Launch Crystal Staking Platform.
-Launch our crystal staking platform where holders can earn crystals by staking on our site. Launch with initial community/project governance function for the crystal token. *Separate article outlining more detail on the functionality and timeline of the staking platform coming soon.

💸 Engage the community through the process of creating a PitchDeck and pursuing Grant Funding.
-Create a pitch deck for the cartoon series to present to blockchains, angel investors, web3 studios, and traditional studios. Founding Frogs will have access to the process of this development as well as an inside view of where we are pitching and how the pitches go.

Phase 0 — Marketing Push for Free Collection

• Launch Roadmap 2.0 through Medium Article / Website (Hey look! We’re here!)
• 400 Founding Frogs updated with a temporary but very cool visual trait that denotes them as a Founding Frog (will happen before May 14th). When this collection gets animated in Phase 4, we will remove this visual trait as the animation will provide them with a higher-status visual identity.
• Giveaways to get Founding Frogs to new holders.
• Using funds from our Founding Frog mint, Purchase giveaway NFTs from some of our favorite communities as part of our marketing push.
• Partner with the communities from our Founding Frog WL (there are 3600 on this WL from partnerships with projects like Doodles, Project Godjira, Cool Cats, and more). While only a small portion of our WL followed through with mint for our Founding Frogs, we’d like to give them another opportunity to access our free collection. We will be engaging with these past communities to offer them an exclusive mint time that coincides with our Founding Frogs guaranteed free frog mints.
• Connect with our community through Twitter spaces, Discord streams, and AMAs.

Phase 1 — Free Mint Launch May 14th

Phase 1A: Founding Frogs/WL, 1hr mint— Founding Frog holders can mint 3 frogs per wallet. Our original 3600WL can mint 1 frog.

Phase 1B: 500 additional frogs from the 4600 released to the public free mint.

Phase 2 — June 15th — 500 frogs / Rerolls

-Release 500 new frogs to public

-Reroll your Founding Frog! The Founding Frogs collection was built with the 5000 frogs in mind. As a result, the majority of these frogs look like normal frogs. This doesn’t reflect the level of coolness and status of a Founding Frog. We will provide an opportunity either on-chain or manually for Founding Frog holders to reroll their frog. The rerolled frog will have much higher guaranteed traits dispersed as well as have access to new traits that will be developed just for these frogs. Reroll opportunity will end August 1st.

Phase 3 — July 15th — 500 frogs / Staking Platform

-Release 500 new frogs to public

-Launch Staking Platform 1.0

-Continued Pitchdeck development

Phase 4 — August 15th — 500 frogs / Founding Frogs Animated Overhaul

-Release 500 new frogs to public

-All founding frogs updated to be animated

Phase 5 — September 15th — 500 frogs / Crystal Frogs Rooms Alpha

-Release 500 new frogs to public

-Crystal Frog Rooms (This is a temporary name for this very cool thing we have planned. You’ll hear more about this as we get closer to this phase!)
