My Blog, take two

Today, I finally started blogging again. I created an account on Medium at Ryan’s suggestion and here I am. It feels good!

The last time I’d written a blog was in 2010. At that time I used Apple’s iWeb application on a Mac and published to their MobileMe hosting site. I was able to use a domain I purchased from GoDaddy and redirect it to point to my site. It was glorious. Of course, this was pre-iCloud. When iCloud came along, the announcement from Apple was that iWeb and MobileMe would be phased out and I would need to find a new forum to host my site. How disappointed I was!

It’s taken a long time to build up the desire to self publish again, and here I am on Medium without a custom domain name. But I suppose that’s ok. Now I just need to see if I have things to say, and to see if I am willing to say it to the world, or if this will be a short-lived endeavor.
