What did I find to be the most useless/boring/misguided/off-topic/badly taught concept in CSC318? How could this be improved?

I attended (almost) every lecture this semester. And the content was very engaging, and reignited my love for UI and UX design. But the thing I kept craving in every lecture was more psychology related content. I was always left asking Why? Why does a certain font-face look nicer to people today rather than a few years ago? Why the magic ratio works really well, other than just that it’s found in nature. Why certain colours are go well together. I kept asking these questions but a lot of times my conclusion always led to me believing that these decisions are nothing more than subjective to each person.
I believe there’s a lot more psychology to UI and UX design than this course leads us to believe.
