Hannah, I totally agree that we has teachers need to find ways through literacy to motivate our students. I also fully support your point, “ Literacy is not limited to reading and writing as sanctioned by the school but also other ways the adolescent is interested in using reading, writing, listening, and thinking”. Using this broad view of literacy opens may possibilities for motivating in the classroom.
