I used to do some work in Cairo, back in the early 2000’s. You would never see anyone except visitors in the streets before noon. After 12 or so, the corners and stoops would start to have people on them. Why not a few pictures of the bullet holes in the Federal Courthouse? Most of the people working at the grocery store were not from Cairo. The store manager was from Wickliffe, Kentucky. Cairo is a victim of it’s own people.
