About the project

Oasys is a public blockchain specializing in games. It is launching with support from renowned game companies to revolutionize “Blockchain for The Games.”
Oasys is an EVM-Compatible protocol that adopts the Oasys Architecture. This unique architecture consists of a multi-layered structure: Hub-Layer, a highly scalable Layer 1; and Verse-Layer, a special Layer 2 using Ethereum’s Layer 2 scaling solution.
My view of the project
What follows is purely my subjective opinion, which is based on my impression of the team, moderation, organization of the project, as well as thoughts on future trends and the role of Oasys in them.
I will start with the discord server, because I believe that there is the most active part of the audience. The server is designed in the classic style, which is inherent in all discord of large projects, not noticed that something stands out compared to other projects, but I can say that all designed high quality, I would suggest that the moderation and the team to add more activities that will make the passive chat to move, also add new roles, through which you can also conduct activities that increase the active and gaining audience and also would think about innovations such as adding new channels (all I can help, have practical experience conducting).
As for the team, I want to note that the project is present worthy of moderators who will help if you have any questions or help with your problem. Project mission
Oasys is a multi-level EVM-compliant public blockchain PoS that solves the problems of game developers with other blockchains. from this description, we can deduce the goal of the project, which is to create the basis for a game-oriented meta-universe and to become a hub for a multi-universe where many different meta-universes are linked together. in recent years, the GameFi trend in the crypto-industry has been developing systematically, which has led to corresponding needs. In my opinion, Oasys, is the leader in the direction they are developing, which is caused by excellent technical solutions, as well as the successful work of the team.
Technical component
Oasys blockchain consists of a highly scalable Layer 1 called Hub-Layer and a Layer 2 called Verse-Layer. Let’s look at each of them further.
Hub-Layer (Layer 1)
Let us note some features of the first level compared to the others:
- Block time is set to 15 seconds, the same as Ethereum, which is enough time to transfer data to globally distributed nodes. This reflects the reliability of the blockchain, which is important for the network to work without interruptions, because sometimes an extra second can make a person’s fortune.
- When posting Verse-Layer transactions to the Hub-Layer, rollups are used to minimize the number of transactions onto the Hub-Layer. This enables scalability that does not depend on an increase of Verse-Layer transactions. And let me remind you, scalability is one of the problems of blockchain compared to traditional finance.
- Transaction data on the Verse-Layer (Layer 2) is reflected on the Hub-Layer (Layer 1), so any event in the Verse-Layer is verifiable which once again shows the reliability of the network.
- And finally, the Oasys blockchain uses the POS consensus, which provides deciduous transactions and is also more environmentally friendly than the POW.
Verse-Layer (Layer 2)
Oasys’ Optimistic rollups establish the network through trust in two factors: the Verse Builder that operates the Verse-Layer (Layer 2); and fraud-proof by the Appointed Verifier.
Verse Builder plays a special role in security, which enables reliable operations with content. Since all transactions are verifiable, a Verse Builder cannot easily cheat. Therefore, the more trustworthy the Verse Builder is, the more resistant the Verse will be to tampering.
Oasys eliminates the 7-day challenge period from Optimistic rollups and allows transactions to be approved instantly at the same level as Web2 products. This is faster than any other blockchain and Layer 2.
In addition, since all data on Oasys is stored in the Hub-Layer, high data availability is achieved, and even if the Verse-Layer is lost, it can be completely restored.
