One of our greatest needs as an organization this semester is for designers — as a code and social impact organization, we cannot emphasize enough the need for great design.

Not only does good design help us deliver beautiful solutions, it also creates a fast user workflow, improves user experience, and helps us create a polished end product for our socially enterprising partners.

On that note, we’d like to introduce you to freshman designer Marsela Sulku.

Major: Computer Science
When I’m not coding the change: you’ll find me hanging out with my friends or doing homework somewhere quiet
Talk to me about: places you’ve traveled to
These are a few of my favorite things: How to Get Away with Murder, traveling, inside jokes, Snapchat, Chipotle guac, makeup
Why CTC? Because the best and most rewarding feeling is giving back by doing something I enjoy to spend time doing.
I love being a designer because: it allows me to tap into my creative potential and shape the user experience.

Marsela is one of three designers on our current team.

If you have any questions about Marsela’s role (or want to discuss travel envy destinations), feel free to get in touch with her through ctcusc@gmail.com, with a subject line ‘Question for Marsela’ or comment below, and we will get back to you in a few days time!

Follow our Medium blog for updates on projects, member profiles, social impact commentary, and more.
