“Latent racism and sexism.” Evidently it is now “racist and sexist” to point out what once was accepted as (and still is) an obvious truth: NOT EVERYBODY IS THE SAME. Women are different from men. The euphemistically lumped-together “people of color” are different from people of…what? Non-color? Otherwise the Big G (and others) wouldn’t feel it necessary to have “Diversity programs” to ensure that said groups get a leg up, which is a HORRIBLE idea. The ONLY measure by which a person should be hired is: Are they the best candidate to PERFORM THE WORK, irrespective of gender, melanin content, or anything else. Period. Nobody (on your side, anyway) complains about a “black business”, so-called. Yay for them! But if a company has “too much whiteness”, well, out come the long knives. Diversity is great…IF it occurs organically. FORCED diversity is a recipe for disaster.
