Hi Marcy, I wouldn’t assume all of us who are taking action right now are optimistic. In fact, in most of my conversations with others, we’re all filled with fear about what comes next. In my experience, action cures fear (or at least tamps it down a bit). What action means for everyone is different. It could mean just getting through your own to-do list when you don’t feel like getting out of bed. I have a daily planner that has a quote before each month. January’s is: “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” If I feel overwhelmed by what’s going on outside of my control, I look back at that. So be sad for a while…just don’t stay there.
