The insufficiency of self-care
Laura Turner

I love this. Your perspective on true self-help is beautiful. It doesn’t need to be all about me and my comfort. I can become a pity party crying with my wine and bubble bath but taking the focus off of myself and drawing a bath for my husband instead is simple and genius. It allows me to get outside of myself like you said and at the same time see things I probably missed when I was hiding in the bathroom. It always feels better to give and do for others. Selflessness is healing. Selflessness could save the world.
