What I’m Thankful For

I’m thankful for all of my family and their health. I love to see my family on the holidays because they all live like an hour away and I don’t get to see them much any other time. I get to see them on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and our annual family reunion. I am just thankful that I can see them at those times.

One tradition that our family has during thanksgiving is getting everyone together and eating enough food for a stadium full of people. In doing this, we have many conversations, catching up from last time, talking about plans for the future, or just reminiscing on old times. We have fun, picking on the little cousin, trying to remember Aunt Susan when she is telling about how she knew you since you were the size of a pea, or listening to grandpa’s famous (definitely exaggerated) war stories.

In Conclusion, family will always be the tradition and we will never not be thankful for them.
