your strategy is all wrong
they’ve already won
you’re already done

wrong weapon.
wrong fight.
wrong time.
wrong side.

you can’t fight the “capitalist white supremacist patriarchy” WITH
the capitalist white supremacist patriarchy.

if you are about intersectionality; do not divide or shame
if you are about equality; do not minimize peoples experiences

understand that we are ALL a part of the system.
all victims of it. no one alive created.
everyone alive suffers from it.

if you find yourself angry, fucking frustrated at the people who have yet to recognize their pain.

help them understand
or just be fucking UNDERSTANDING..

remember that if EVERYONE is angry and hurting, and we cling to it then there will never be anytime to express the compassion that we know is the answer.

you can not win with absolutist rhetoric and judgement.
THAT’S HOW WE GOT HERE

BE THE CHANGE does not mean point the finger out. it means point it in.

make it unequivocally clear that you will not be FEARED into hate, that you will not be worn down into it, that you are resilient and combative with own life.

be unapologetically authentic and let that light illuminate the minds who would rather live in the darkness of ignorance.

be the mirror and not the hammer, because the hammer is their way. The mirror shows us our beauty and ugliness and it is undeniable.

we keep asking people to be better, maybe they will follow our example!
