College Pre-Move In

College being a week away is something I really should be excited for, and I truly am. But as with hundreds of other prospective freshmen, I don’t quite know how ready I am. There are a myriad of reasons I could point to for the hysteria, but right now I am focusing on internships.

First off, I have never heard of an internship before university talk. When I was a junior in Highschool I heard the term for the first time. Even now there are so much cautionary banners around the subject, I don’t know where to begin. For starters I don’t know how to find one, or hold onto one, or really what I am suppose to learn. Of course they saw that will come with experience, and I can only assume thats true, but on what do I do one for.

My first choice would be my major. It’s the easy choice, and clearly the most simple and advantageous. But with recent findings, I’m questioning everything in the universe. Thus, this may prove rewardless.

My decision: to do something I wouldn’t imagine me doing before this year. Possibly I’ll intern for a political campaign, or with a nonprofit. There’s so much I don’t know, but I’ll take it all one decision at a time.

On a dreary note, this blog has virtually no importance to a reader, but all the benefits for the writer. Perhaps that’s not dreary, depends on your perspective.

Sincerely,

Caeleb J Heinen
