New Advisor Onboard!
It’s a new week, a new beginning. And this week starts with a hot announcement. Vladymyr Spivakovsky has joined the Cubomania advisory board and will contribute to Cubomania in the area of creating educational content for children!
What makes this news so special for Cubomania? The reason is that Mr. Spivakovsky has unique experience in disrupting the conventional system of education and reforming it into innovative educational environment. This is exactly what Cubomania strives for!
Vladimir Spivakovsky is a successful businessmen, well-known scientist, author and a public figure. Over 50 business projects, doctoral degree in Economics, 7 bestseller books, 56 patents, and 2 records in Guinness Book are only a few examples of his achievements. However, it is his educational initiatives that deserve particular attention.
To tackle problems of today’s education system globally Mr. Spivakovsky has raised 7 basic questions that touched the most critical points in the most comprehensive way. And tried to answer them. The questions were as simple as that:
What to learn?
How to learn?
Where to learn?
Who will teach?
How to finance?
What will the results be?
Answering those appeared to be his major activity for the last decade. Thus, he created his own educational platform based on his vision of these problem-questions and called it 7W.
Among all the innovations that he suggested the fundamental one is the shift from subject-oriented to case-oriented education, that was implemented at his platform. At first, Vladymyr Spivakovsky created a number of free case-lessons and put them online. Immediately after that it gained popularity among educators and pupils as they combined both fundamental knowledge and practical skills in modern packaging. That all ended up in online Knowledge Hypermarket 7W with 60k+ case lessons that are used by 675 schools from 12 countries. The platform itself servers 2,5m online visitors monthly.
At the same time, Vladimir Spivakovsky directed his efforts towards improving offline education. His private school, the ‘Grand’ Lyceum, is a bright example of 7W approach implementation, which allows the school to hit the world rankings and get accreditation from international authorities such as NCPSA.
The ultimate goal of all educational elements was brought to the entirely new level, once Spivakovsky developed a concept of a 7-star Global School Network. He believes that education of the future will be centered around several huge Educational Platforms like it is now happening on the smartphone market (Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi) or in a hotel business (Hilton, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton).
They will compete with each other, suggesting different approaches to educating students. So the sooner we admit such a turn of events, the better we will be prepared for the future. Therefore, having the layout of a 7-star Global School Network ready, Spivakovsky believes to be one step ahead and bring the future closer.
Spivakovsky’s concepts and ideas about transformation of a conventional education system also received decent international recognition. For instance, in 2016 Spivakovsky and his 7w platform participated in the all-American Contest “XQ: The Super School Project”, initiated by Powell Jobs and made it to the contest finals outpacing 700 other submissions. On top of that, Spivakovsky also took part at Yidan Contest in Hong Kong and HundrED in Finland.
Given all Spivakovsky’s background, creativity and breadth of thought, Cubomania is sure that he will be a valuable add-on to the project.
