1. Anxiety disorders:


This is characterized by excessive fear and worry and other related behavioral disturbances.

This is different from mood fluctuations.

People with depression are at an increased risk of suicide.

3. Bipolar Disorders:


People with this disorder experience alternating depressive episodes with periods of manic symptoms.




4. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD):


This may develop following exposure to an extremely threatening or horrific event or series of events.




5. Eating disorders:


This involves abnormal eating and preoccupation with food as well as prominent body weight and shape concerns.
