Summer Launch Party: Bringing a brand to life

Article by Anna Hueg, Intern at Curb Crowser

If you haven’t heard already, we really like making brands combust (in a good way). So when it came time for us to write the next chapter of our own brand, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Now we’re showing off a fresh new look and couldn’t be happier with the result.

Last week, we debuted our rebrand with a summer launch party. To do so, we jumped into an even deeper understanding of who we are as a brand — and want to share what we learned. Here are a few of our brand tenets that guided us as we worked on our summer launch party.

Our favorite brands are great stories, well told.

Every project you work on, big and small, is a chance to tell your brand’s story, whether it’s online, in the retail space, or at a physical event like our party.

Our relaunch party told the Curb Crowser story. That meant showcasing our work, sharing a fresh take on our office space, and exhibiting our new brand. Around each corner our core values exhibited in some way: passion for our craft, being different by design, and creating an environment that is relatable and people-focused. That’s what we’re all about.

Start with what matters most and everything will matter more.

To tell your brand’s story most effectively, the devil really is in the details. With a little strategic planning, even the smallest moments can be an opportunity to create lasting impressions of who you are as a brand.

Décor, food, and entertainment elevated a party to an expression of our brand.

We’re local. Independently owned. And it’s something we’re so very proud of. So, of course we extended that to our food — mini donuts! From Rebel Donuts. Also local. Also awesome.

Day in and day out, we work hard to bring ideas to life that make an impact in our world. Our caricaturist? He was an extension of that! He shared his craft with our guests in doodles and drawings and I’d say those details were icing on the cake!

Yeah, we do things differently — and no, that’s not by accident.

The State Fair Theme? Because there are real people here. Yes, we’re experts in branding and retail merchandising but we also love a good pair of jeans, a brewski and of course, the State Fair.

Letting our brand dance outside the box. Just like ideas.

The result — fresh, smart, and a little out of the ordinary — just the way we like it.

Miss the party, but want to keep up with our new brand? Let’s connect! We can’t wait to show you a little thing we like to call, Curb appeal.
