CURES Introduces EHR System Prototype for National Implementation due to EU’s COVID-19 Urge

On the occasion of Labour Day, the CURES Token team greets those at the frontlines of the battle against COVID-19, especially the health workers who are taking on significant personal risk and too often working without adequate equipment to ensure all of us can receive the care we need!

Now, when the media is flooding us with terrifying statistics, we believe it’s the right time to share some exciting and positive news about the progress of CURES Token — the promising, blockchain-powered healthcare platform which is all about critical thinking, problem-solving and innovation in the global healthcare industry.

To start with, just a year after the introduction of one of 6 platforms within our ecosystem, the Electronic Health Records, its working prototype is already a fact. Further, it aims to allow more accessible, secure and personalized diagnosis and treatment for patients from the EU. For instance, in the area of rare diseases, the current average time for diagnosing a known rare disease of 5.6 years could be shortened to one-year thanks to molecular diagnosis and teleconsultations with specialists.

Besides, the COVID-19 pandemic reinforces the need for an urgent digital transformation of the European healthcare sector…and CURES Token addresses this need. For instance, telemedicine is one of the solutions helping reduce burdens on healthcare systems by making it possible to monitor COVID-19 patients remotely.
